The Cité Radieuse is a residence built between 1947 and 1952 by the architect Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, better known under the pseudonym Le Corbusier. Located in Marseille, it was built in the form of a block on stilts, with its brutalist appearance it attempts to create a new form of city: a "vertical village" called "Unité d'habitation".
