Inaugurated in 1976, the Montreuil conservatory, at the time National School of Music and Dance, was designed in 1968, a symbolic year by the architect Claude Le Goas to whom we also owe the Mozinor industrial building in Montreuil. Indeed its architecture, which resembles a beehive with its honeycomb cells, is an application of the theses of the Modern Movement: it is its function which generates its form.
