The Nakagin Capsule Tower (中銀カプセルタワ) is a residential and office building designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa and located in the Shimbashi district of Tokyo, Japan. Built in 1970, the Nakagin Capsule Tower has thirteen floors and 3,091.23 m2 of floor space. It is made up of two reinforced concrete towers on which prefabricated modules called capsules are attached. This building is one of the most representative of the Metabolist movement.
