Finca Bosque Lya (Lya's Forest, named after the coffee farmer's firstborn daughter "Lya") is a coffee plantation in El Salvador that has been cultivating Arabica coffee beans in the highlands at up to 1650 meters since 1932, handpicking and roasting on site and on direct ways to Germany and the world brings. In this way, consistently high quality can be guaranteed, the coffee is always fresh and due to the short distances, the topic of sustainability in line with the Rainforest Alliance certification comes first. Grandma Lya's Kaffee has been back in Germany since 2013. Started as a small idea, Direct Trade coffee was known for its taste and quality
convince. The direct contact to the family and to the farmer ""Don""" Luis is something very special for me. A solid friendship has developed over the years.
As a branch of the farm in Europe, we are sustainable, transparent and close the circle that began in 1892 with a German emigrant in El Salvador. The coffee is of the highest quality, varietal and with every pack sold, part of the proceeds go directly to "Don" Luis and his employees. It couldn't be fairer!
