Mountain honey is a natural product that comes mostly from excretions of plant-sucking insects present on the living parts of plants or from secretions from the living parts of plants. Origin: Our bees produce a select mountain honey from the latest harvest, originally from Spain, to guarantee the exquisite flavour that characterises us. Mountain honey comes mainly from the heather, brambles and oaks of northern Spain, predominantly from Galicia and northern Castile and Leon. It is produced from a honeydew secretion.
