THE WAY OF MÆLT
The evolution of our Hard Seltzer
We have been successfully brewing delicious beers for over 20 years and have gained a lot of experience during this time. Logical: Everything that has to do with fermented drinks fascinates us. Since 2019 we have been thinking about making a wonderfully light and refreshing drink from very few selected ingredients: a hard seltzer!
Our mission was clear from the start: ours must be the best hard seltzer in the world! That's why we spent a long time tinkering with the manufacturing process so that our hard seltzer has a particularly mild and soft taste. And we can control this process in such a way that the finished hard seltzer no longer contains any carbohydrates - and is therefore very low in calories: with 4.5% alcohol there are only 89 kcal in a 330 ml can.
Our Hard Seltzer consists of very few ingredients: water, dextrose, yeast and real fruit flavors. They naturally transform into an exciting, incomparable drink with a fine taste. We call this process FerMÆLTation. Learn more here.
The name: MÆLT Hard Seltzer
How did we come up with the name MÆLT Hard Seltzer? As early as the development phase, we tried and optimized the different versions of our Hard Seltzer again and again so that it would be perfect - that is, it tasted absolutely delicious!
The closer we got to this perfect taste, the more often one thought came to everyone involved: Our cold, mild and soft hard seltzer resembled the ice-cold melt of pure ice. And imagine: What could be purer, finer and at the same time more refreshing than the clear melt water of a huge block of ice on a hot summer's day?
Our Hard Seltzer is just as fine and refreshing. This sentiment is woven into the name and choice of our logo. That's why the iceberg is our symbol – and MÆLT is the name.
The iceberg - more than just a logo
A wonderful product, an exciting and new taste, the magic of starting and building something new - and getting excited about it. That drives us! But we are also aware that every manufacturing company consumes resources and leaves traces. Despite all the joie de vivre and enjoyment, we don't want to float detached through our MÆLT cosmos, but see our company and MÆLT as part of a society that acts responsibly, not only takes, but also gives.
The iceberg is therefore not just a logo for us, but also a symbol and obligation to make our contribution to society. We want to support projects or institutions with our ideas, our reach, our manpower and also financially. It is clear that with the iceberg as our logo we want to help those who are dedicated to exploring and protecting the ice sheets and glaciers of our planet. We will keep you updated on our blog!
