We were keen to literally imbue our rugs with the natural beauty of the world, and so have chosen since our creation to hand-dye them all using ancient Ayurvedic plant preparations, discovering a palette of vibrant colours along the way. The pink color of this carpet is obtained thanks to a preparation of around ten plants, notably madder. This plant was and still is an important part of ancient Indian religious rituals. It is valued for improving skin health and promoting detoxification of the body.
