The MAIMARA brand was born from a unique fusion between scientific rigor and the beauty of nature. As a physics engineer, I have always been fascinated by the laws of the universe, the precision of the invisible forces that govern our world, and the magic of materials. After a PhD in electrical engineering, I spent a few years studying materials, solving scientific problems, and playing with electric fields.
But everything changed with the birth of my children. Becoming a mother opened my eyes to another dimension of life. I felt a deep need to be there for them, to teach them the values that are important to me: respect for nature, authenticity and the importance of truth in an often superficial world.
It was at this point that I decided to reorient my way of life and therefore my career.
My scientific training has given me a unique understanding of materials, their structure and their interactions under different constraints. I chose to put this expertise at the service of a new form of expression: the creation of jewelry.
Each of my jewels tells a story. They are created with precision and a deep respect for nature.
I use natural, ethically sourced materials, and each piece is designed to be durable, timeless and meaningful.
