Chrystelle and Patrick are longtime friends. In 2021, they created Maison Ahouë, driven by the desire to promote the African continent and its treasures, in a responsible and ethical way. Ahouë means "house" in Ewe, the national language of Ghana and Togo. In short, this is the place where you feel at home!
The duo sources products in Africa, and in particular in Togo, in an ethical and responsible approach: organic dried pineapple (harvested by hand, dried on site and packaged in an ESAT in Lyon), organic pineapple juice or even chocolate and coffee (grown, harvested and dried in Togo, then roasted by hand over a wood fire in the Cévennes).
Maison Ahouë maintains lasting close relationships with producers, working directly with cooperatives. The brand provides them with technical, financial and material support, and a fair and stable income.
