Maison Berthon is a family charcuterie created in 1956 by our grandparents Pierre and Fernande in Hagetmau in the Landes. Initially, traveling merchants on the markets, they presented their pork-based charcuterie production in the Landes squares.
Over time, they have settled down and set up their business in a shop in downtown Hagetmau (40 Landes).
In 1985, their children Philippe and Colette took up the torch and developed the canning business. A wide range of products is developed in close collaboration with local suppliers and breeders. Faced with growing demand, a cannery project was born in order to increase productivity and make work easier.
From that moment on, the third generation joined the “boat” in order to bring continuity to this beautiful story of a delicatessen family. We continue to make the traditional recipes of our ancestors and bring a slight renewal to our ranges (creation of delicatessen ranges, subcontracting, etc.). We want to perpetuate and strengthen partnerships with our suppliers and thus perpetuate the know-how acquired.
