… The Chocolaterie du Mont Ventoux, in the heart of Vaucluse, founded by Laurent Lesage, Master Artisan Chocolatier, and his wife Florence, was born from their shared passion for chocolate!
A vocation that has asserted itself over the years with the artisanal production of fine chocolate candies, stamped Maison Lesage, with a strong personality, offering intense flavors while playing with aromas and textures in a studied aesthetic.
From a savory world, that of cooking, charcuterie and catering, he moved on to that of sweets by training with prestigious pastry and chocolate makers in the region and worked for around ten years in a renowned pastry shop in the PACA region. In 2003, his taste for travel and the unknown led him and his wife to the Pacific Ocean, the land of the rising sun, to participate in the establishment and opening of this pastry shop which employed them both at the time.
A linked destiny...In September 2007, the duo continued on their path and enthusiastically launched into the creation of Maison Lesage in Vaison-la-Romaine dedicated to gourmet sweets, delicate pastries and high-end refined sweet products of their own brand. In 2009, they opened another store in Vaison-la-Romaine, then another in Sarrians in 2012!
It is therefore in this context that La Chocolaterie du Mont Ventoux appeared as an obvious choice in October 2019 with this crazy desire to reach new heights!The philosophy of life, the leitmotif for the Lesages: follow your dreams, they know the way! So, in 2023, they decided to take up the challenge and take over the Biscuiterie Aujoras. They will be keen to perpetuate the know-how and traditions of this famous century-old house, while adding their own touch.
