Located in the heart of the village of Chemilly-sur-yonne in Burgundy, France, Maison Marc is above all a family story. Since 1923, three generations have passed on the secrets of their know-how, preserving the quality of the product.
In the 1950s, Marc, the grandfather, cultivated pickles in an artisanal way and preserved them according to a recipe concocted by his wife without any additives or preservatives, a quality product.
In the early 2000s, faced with globalization, the major industrial groups relocated their production and decided to source their supplies from India.
Maison Marc then became the last producer of pickles in France.
In 2012, Henri Jeannequin, son of Florent, grandson of Marc took over.
