Maison Masarin was born from a passion passed down through generations for raw materials and their color nuances.
Our universe draws its inspiration both from our family home full of Mediterranean influences, and from our everyday needs. Thus, we imagine spaces that are as timeless as they are vibrant through our collection which is available around household linens, everyday clothing, but also through interior decoration elements.
Each of our products is made from raw materials, often diverted from their primary use.
Our ambition is to revive natural materials to integrate them and make them last in our contemporary lives.
The History of Maison Masarin begins with Michèle Masarin, who created Comptoir des Teintures in 2012.
Passionate about linen and colors, she hunts and assembles a collection including pieces in hemp, linen, cotton, or mixed colors that she transforms and dyes with her own color blends to give them a second life. She participates in the beginnings of upcycling, which has now become a priority for the environment.
10 years later, Maison Masarin was created to combine a component deliberately focused on the living space, keeping in the background this serenity and this sweetness of life captured during trips around the Mediterranean.
Between the house of the Cyclades, the Dammuso of Southern Italy, the Finca overlooking Es Vedrà and the Moroccan Kasbah, the atmosphere is completely different. And yet, we perceive a common thread: interiors open to the outside, great simplicity and a certain simplicity.
