With only 1001 numbered bottles, Whiskey ASSEMBLAGE unveils Collection N°3, a single malt in the colors of our muse: Bordeaux. The more wintry flavors of this new whiskey will bring you warmth and friendliness for the end-of-year celebrations. Story ASSEMBLAGE whiskey is the result of the collaboration between Aymeric oenologist, father of French whiskeys A. Roborel de Climens, and Cedrik founder of Maison Mounicq specialized in the development of spirits made from grapes: Vodka Nadé and Gins Avem . The two Bordelais have combined their know-how to design a whiskey imbued with their common passion for the vine. ​Aymeric has selected the best eaux-de-vie from the Hepp Artisanal Distillery, then refined them in barrels of wines from Bordeaux Châteaux. ​Cedrik, after selecting two of them, was once again inspired by his roots as a winegrower in order to marry them perfectly as one would blend a wine. Aromatic profile Collection N°3 is also from the Distellerie Hepp, so it is a Single Malt. It is a blend of eaux-de-vie, Bordeaux know-how, but above all passion. This edition is perfect for this winter season, it combines the aromatic power of blond winter barley and the sweetness of Bordeaux wine. This gives a complex whiskey combining a frank grip and a wine delicacy. Refining in two old barrels of Bordeaux wines, allows ASSEMBLAGE Collection N°3 to reveal the subtle flavors of the different grape varieties: The Sauvignon cask brings freshness with floral and white fruit notes. As for the barrel of Merlot, it combines delicacy and smoothness with flavors of jammy red fruits. The result of this new BLEND is a spirit with cereal and woody notes that gives way to fruit aromas for a subtly spicy finish.
