During a trip to Madagascar, I was deeply impressed by the local craftsmanship, particularly the raffia work, carried out with remarkable precision and passion. Back in France, I wanted to introduce this wealth to a wider audience. This is how Maison Raphia was born. I designed unique models, entirely handmade in Madagascar, mixing raffia, leather, cotton and sometimes bronze details. Each creation reflects the elegance and authenticity of Malagasy craftsmanship. My goal: to promote this exceptional know-how through quality, durable pieces full of soul.
