Malàkio is an eco-design house of decorative objects and tableware made from recycled shells. Inspired by the raw beauty of the seabed, we create pieces with a unique character, combining durability, design and craftsmanship. All of our production is done by hand in our Nantes workshop.
The shells we use are recovered after consumption, then transformed to offer a responsible alternative to traditional materials, which are often harmful to the environment.
Our approach aims to support the local and artisanal economy, while limiting our carbon footprint as much as possible thanks to a manufacturing process without cooking.
