Mallowick Candles: A scented passion that respects man and nature
Created in 2022 in Corsica, Mallowick Candles was born after an intensive year of testing and research of the best suppliers and craftsmen to offer you products of exceptional quality.
The beginnings:
Since I was very young, I have always had a very vivid imagination. I loved to lock myself away in my own world, drawing and making objects with my hands. Drawing allowed me to free myself from invasive thoughts and to put down on paper what I felt without knowing how to express it. Growing up, I put drawing aside, but in my free time, I turned to fimo and clay creations. In 2021, I decided to try making solid shampoos and candles of all kinds. This experience quickly became exciting, because it combines three of my favorite activities: perfumery, chemistry and manual creation.
Our ethical vision:
A few months later, I gave up shampoos and only made candles. I decided at that time to transform my passion into a profession to work in an environment where my creativity is not restricted and which reflects my environmental and human values. The lockdown and the Covid crisis have opened our eyes to our way of life. I wanted my creations to respect man as much as nature and animals. I then established strict specifications to choose each ingredient, container, partner and artisan with whom I wanted to collaborate. I have decided to exclude any collaboration with countries practicing modern slavery, child labor or animal testing. This is why, whether for our raw materials or our packaging, we only work with European companies and local potters. I also wanted to create a brand that was not only eco-responsible, but also rewarding for the artists in our region.
Creation of The Artist:
This is how the collection "The Artist" was born. It pays tribute to a collaboration between two local artisans to offer you a 100% artisanal and multifunctional work. To make each candle even more unique, I embellish them with dried flowers, transforming each piece into a decorative object. You thus benefit from a decoration that scents when cold, an elegant candle (once you decide to light it), and finally a reusable container.
Today:
Today, the brand has evolved, and I am proud to be able to offer not only candles, but also scented tablets and powders as well as home fragrances. Perfumed creations without endocrine disruptors, without carcinogenic and mutagenic agents, not tested on animals, and handcrafted in San Martino di Lota, near Bastia. Join me on this fragrant adventure where each product is a tribute to creativity, craftsmanship and respect for the environment.
