Established in 1975 by the desire of Rivo Marcocelli, the Marcocelli farm gained momentum in wine production in 1999, thanks to his son Giuseppe; in recent years the company's core business has shifted from orchards to vines, with great attention to that of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
Thanks to this important wine, which represents the family's wine production, the winery immediately met with good success and quickly obtained the recognition of High Quality Product (year 2000), up to the point of obtaining the prestigious brand in 2003. D.O.C.G. for Count Ripoli Colline Teramane Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
With great care and with the use of the most advanced winemaking facilities, every year over 50,000 bottles are produced, distributed mainly in Italy and a small part abroad including Belgium, Germany and China.
