In the early 1980s, Marie Sharp began experimenting with sauces on the porch of her family farm. And since then, the number of their customers has steadily increased year after year. Hot addicts from all over the world are now crazy about the fiery sauces from the small but fine chilli sauce factory at the foot of the Maya Mountains. Only one thing hasn't changed in all this time: Even at over 70 years of age, Marie Sharp still runs her small Habanero kingdom herself - with a lot of Belizean girl power. Spicy and Flavorful? The secret of Marie Sharp's legendary sauces?
They are hot, some even very hot - but uniquely tasty. Because they contain locally ripened tropical fruits, fresh vegetables and the best habaneros, which are grown at the foot of the Maya Mountains and bought fairly and locally by Marie and her friends. The Habaneros dominate our sauces, while Marie's great experience in processing ensures the very special touch.
