Hello dears :)

I'm Marisa, originally from the beautiful north of Bremen and now live and work in Düsseldorf.
I once studied communication design - but that has relatively little to do with what I'm doing now.

It all started with the fact that I wrote and illustrated my own children's book and then - more or less by accident and rather unplanned - a series of products emerged that were initially limited to stationery.
In the meantime, I use my illustrations to design all sorts of things as sustainably and environmentally friendly as possible and also do a bit of graphic design (logo design and co).
I illustrate on paper in a pretty old school way, color the whole thing with watercolors and after taking a high resolution photo of it, I clip it in Photoshop to design all sorts of things.

It is very important to me to transform my ideas and illustrations into products that I can stand behind with a clear conscience, which is why everything you can buy here is produced exclusively in Germany, climate-neutral and as regionally as possible, for a long time to avoid delivery routes.
The art prints and smaller posters, such as the seasonal calendar and the ""Kitchen Coziness"", are produced around the corner in my favorite print shop and I'm also trying to find a larger print shop in the area that can do the rest :) Recycled paper is of course my absolute first choice in all of this.

You will discover wooden magnet strips on the posters on some of the product images, I get these from ""side by side"", a joint project of several workshops for disabled people and designers, feel free to stop by, they have wonderful things!
It's about people and the environment and not about the cheapest offers, so I make sure from the first brushstroke to the finished product that I can pass everything on with a clear conscience.
The packaging of my posters and planners/calendars is made of potato and corn starch, is completely biodegradable and is made by a family business from England (unfortunately, the delivery route cannot be avoided here because I simply have not found an equivalent alternative).
The information stickers that I put on them are produced in the environmental printers in Hanover, just like my notepads and planners.
So I deal in detail with all possible options and components before I give anything out of hand! ;)

And when I need a little variety and a holiday in my head, I make pottery or let off steam with paint on canvas.
I just do things :)

So, quite a lot of babble - if you want to know anything else, just get in touch and of course we can also chat about everything on the phone! :)
