Nestled in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, between the villages of Montpeyroux and Saint-Jean-de-Fos, Mas Conscience is much more than just a wine estate. It is a haven of creativity, where the passion of Roman, Audrey and the rest of the team interacts with the richness of an exceptional region. Accompanied by the talent and expertise of their oenologist, Claude Gros, the estate's wines become true invitations to travel, revealing the perfect alchemy between the deep minerality of the soil and the generous warmth of Languedoc. We find there the delicacy of a viticulture in search of balance.
Here, the landscape unfolds into a living tableau, where the 15 hectares of vines embrace the ruggedness of the causses and the breath of the scrubland. Every stone, every breeze and every ray of sunshine tells the story of a land vibrant with energy, which the estate enhances through its wines. Each vintage bears the imprint of a respectful and committed approach, for more than 10 years, where organic farming and traditional winemaking reveal the authenticity and modernity of the terroir.
Tasting a Mas Conscience wine means diving into a symphony of aromas of vibrant red fruits, powerful black fruits, sweet spices and floral notes, magnified by an elegant structure and beautiful length. It is to feel this duality so specific to the Terrasses du Larzac: the subtle alliance of strength and lightness, of intensity and freshness.
Each bottle is a hymn to life that constantly reinvents what wine can be: a pure emotion, a memory that awakens, an awakened conscience.

P.S. :The names of the vintages reflect our desire to play with the word “consciousness”...Can you spot our puns?

"Between the Devil's Bridge and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, legend has it that monks went from village to village begging for alms. They asked the inhabitants to give according to their good conscience! Wine and olive oil were the most common offerings at the time. The monks transported them on muleback, in jars made by the potters of Saint-Jean-de-Fos. Over time, these jars took on the name of “conscience”!
Echoing this legend, the mule and the conscience have become the symbols of our domain."
