Le Mas de Valériole is a family estate located in the heart of the Camargue Regional Natural Park, in Provence.
Founded in 1426 by the Arlesian doctor François de Valériole, it has belonged since the 1960s to the Michel family which has perpetuated, from father to son and for six generations, know-how and determination.
The tasks are distributed naturally, Jean-Paul takes care of the major crops (rice, wheat, sunflowers, chickpeas, etc.) and I, Patrick, am the winegrower.
Already, our sons – as luck would have it that we only have boys – are taking over.
Today we are joined by Maxime, oenologist, and by Laurent and Armand dedicated to the cultivation of organic rice.
