Mathematicus - Stomachion, Archimedes' mathematical game (Italian language)

A millennium and a half ahead of the Chinese tangram, stomachion was described by Archimedes and from the 2nd century BC. C. spread as a game throughout the Greek and then Roman Mediterranean. The attached booklet deals with the interesting mathematical aspects of the object and also tells the adventurous history of the Palimpsest, the recently rediscovered work that concealed, under overwritten liturgical texts, various lost works of the Syracusan mathematician, including the Stomachion.
