Banana fiber cherry pit pillow BURAO - 32cm x 14cm

Cherry pit pillow BURAO made of 65% banana fiber viscose and 35% Peace Silk (silk produced without violence). Heat the pillow either in the microwave for max. 50 seconds at max. 600 watts, or for approx. 5 minutes at max. 100°C in the oven. The cherry stones store the heat, which makes the pillow ideal for treating neck tension, headaches or stomach aches. In addition, the cherry pit pillow can simply be chilled in the freezer for a few minutes and then used as a cold compress. The cover of the cherry pit cushions is not removable, but the cushions can be washed completely either by hand or with similar colors in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and at a low temperature (max. 30 degrees). Then let it dry thoroughly on the heater or in the sun. Our labels are made from recycled paper with flower seeds. Instead of disposing of the labels with household waste, they can simply be planted in a flower pot or in the garden. With a bit of luck, the first flowers will sprout after a while! More information about the fibers: - Banana fibers are obtained from the so-called “pseudo stem” of the banana tree. Since the fiber is thus produced from waste material that would otherwise be burned or naturally rot after harvesting the fruit, the production is very resource-efficient. - In conventional silk production, to obtain an unbroken filament, silk cocoons are placed in boiling water or dried while the silkworm is still inside. Peace Silk production, on the other hand, allows the animals to either hatch naturally, or the cocoons are cut open individually by hand so that the silkworm can exit the cocoon before further processing.
