memobottle was born to combat two major frustrations that our founders experienced:
1. The single-use water bottle epidemic. More than 500 billion single-use bottles are consumed and discarded every year, creating huge damage to our environment
2.The inability to fit cylindrical water bottles in our bags. We were always taking laptop bags, satchels, backpacks etc to university/work and round reusable water bottles either didn't fit, or left a big bulge

We realised that these frustrations were not unique to us, They were global. We realised that most of the items that we put into our bags were flat (computers, books, ipads etc) so we decided to redesign the water bottle to be more optimised for travel and convenience. To always fit - in your bag, and in your life.

Every memobottle sold provides 5 months of clean water to those in need, through our amazing partnership with water.org. To date, we have provided over 22 million days of water, while preventing the use of an estimated 100 million single-use bottles.
