Barbaresco DOCG 2020, CASCINA MARIA, structured and spicy red wine for aging

The Roero hills in Piedmont have always been suited to producing great wines.This aged red wine, structured and spicy, is produced in Vezza d'Alba, by the Demarie family who manages their 30Ha estate with expertise and passion.
 Vinification and aging: Vinification with long maceration maximizes the extraction of tannins and aromas, and aging for 9 months in large Slavonian barrels gives this wine silky tannins and incredible length.
 Tasting notes: – Appearance: Ruby red color which tends towards tile over the years. –Nose: The aromas of fresh fruit at the beginning give way, during further development, to the world of spices. 
Thus, violet, rose and cherry are added with nuances of sweet oriental spices, cinnamon, green pepper and balsamic notes. –Palate: Extraordinary aristocracy on the palate! 
It is a wine with a voluminous body, with silky tannins and a dazzling freshness, which offers a beautiful length on the palate.
 Aging potential: > 10 years Recommended serving temperature: 18-20°C Recommended consumption: Open and air at least 1 hour before tasting.
 Food/wine pairings: Hot appetizers, cold meats, red meat, and cheese.
