Costerduo 2020 PRIORAT DOQ– COSTERDUO – full-bodied and elegant red wine

DESCRIPTION: This full-bodied and elegant red wine is produced by Costerduo, a small winery with an artisanal project, led by a winemaker/oenologist, passionate about the Priorat region and its authentic wine tradition. Vinification and aging: The grapes are harvested manually at optimum maturity, picked in 20 kg crates and rigorously selected. After moderate maceration and malolactic fermentation in steel vats, the wine is aged for at least 9 months in used French oak barrels. Tasting notes: – Appearance: Brilliant ruby color. –Nose: Delicate aromas of wild fruits, with subtle toasted notes of cedar, chocolate and spices such as rosemary. –Palate: This wine is juicy and full-bodied on the palate, with lovely acidity and velvety tannins. Lingering finish of rich and complex notes. Aging potential: 7 to 10 years Recommended serving temperature: 16-18 °C Food and wine pairings: Beef bourguignon, wild boar stew, prime rib, lamb shoulder.
