
This delicate and silky red wine, produced by Deep Rooted Wines, is a blend of three plots of Syrah, grown organically or regeneratively, from the cool climate region of Walker Bay. Vinification and aging: The grapes from each plot are vinified separately and according to their uniqueness. Fermentation is carried out for 20% in whole clusters and prolonged maceration is carried out to soften the tannins. The wine is aged in 225 L French oak barrels for 10 months. We obtain a beautiful expression of Syrah from the cool climate terroir of the Walker Bay region. Tasting notes: – Appearance: Bright ruby color. –Nose: Beautiful aromatic complexity with aromas of small red fruits, olive, spices such as pepper and cloves, and vegetal notes of Fynbos. –Palate: Light, elegant with silky tannins, this wine combines freshness and softness. The finish is very balanced and harmonious.
