La Morera de Montsant 2020 PRIORAT DOQ – PASANAU – powerful and fruity red wine

DESCRIPTION: This powerful and fruity red wine is produced by Celler Pasanau. It comes from hilly and mountainous vineyards in Morera, giving this wine the prestigious Priorat D appellation.O.Q, unique qualities. Vinification and aging: The grapes are harvested by hand in crates. They are then destemmed, crushed, then fermented in stainless steel vats for 28 days with daily pumping over and stirring. The wine is aged for 12 months in 225 L French oak barrels, in order to round out its tannins, while retaining the power of the fruit. Tasting notes: – Appearance: Cherry red color with ruby red highlights. –Nose: The first nose offers a bouquet of rosemary, thyme and damp moss. After swirling the glass, we discover a beautiful complexity and aromatic intensity, with aromas of red cherry, cranberry, wood and spices. –Palate: Juicy and balanced, this wine has a silky texture and round tannins. On the palate, we find flavors of red fruits and small black fruits, as well as discreet and elegant woody notes. The finish is warm and powerful.
