Moscato d’Asti DOCG 2023 – CANTAMESSA – sweet and sparkling white wine

DESCRIPTION: This light, sweet and sparkling white wine is produced by the Cantamessa family estate, which invests in organic farming and the biodiversity of its clay-limestone vineyards located in southern Piedmont. Vinification and aging: This wine is produced by traditional vinification at low temperature; fermentation is stopped to maintain a high sugar level. Then a second fermentation is carried out in an autoclave, in order to give this wine a sparkling character, bringing a nice freshness. Tasting notes: – Appearance: Golden yellow color. –Nose: Delicate aromas of white flowers, orange peel, lime, apricot and peach. –Palate: The sweetness inherent in the residual sugar level is perfectly balanced by fine bubbles, which give a little tension to this wine with fresh and delicate flavors, which linger in the mouth. Aging potential: < 3 years Recommended serving temperature: 6-8 °C Food/wine pairings: Dry biscuits, frangipane galette, candied fruit cake.
