Miamm-Douar is a Breton artisanal cannery in the heart of Finistère at the crossroads between Brest, Quimper, the Monts d'Arrée and the Crozon peninsula. This artisanal cannery located in Saint-Ségal offers 100% plant-based products.
With a doctorate in environmental microbiology, I spent several years studying soil microorganisms, their interactions with plants, and the benefits they provide to cultivated plants in an agricultural context. Having always loved creating, making, growing and cooking what I produce, I decided to change my life while continuing to be interested in the riches that our soils can offer us. .
By creating the local Breton artisanal cannery Miamm-Douar, I transform vegetables from our organic Breton agriculture and in rhythm with the seasons in order to offer you vegetable spreads and cooked vegetable dishes.
ÉHaving been a Breton speaker since childhood, it was obvious to me that my company would bear a Breton name. 
Mamm-Douar means Mother Earth in Breton. A little "i" is slipped in to play with words and express the pleasure one gets when eating good products! Thus, Miamm-Douar brings together my Breton roots, ecosystem services and the delicacies that the earth offers us. .
Miamm-Douar is an artisanal cannery designed to meet the expectations you shared with me when I met you at the markets:
