Located in Vivy, the Girard Honey Farm develops its beekeeping activity in a privileged environment. The rich biodiversity around its operating site allows it to produce a wide variety of high-quality honeys.

Renowned for the high quality of its products and its time-honored beekeeping expertise, this family business, founded in 1920, has been passed down through generations.
It is now run by the Beaufils family, who took over the business in 2021. Attached to the values of tradition, the two brothers and their wives continue to perpetuate the beekeeping know-how of Saumur. They currently manage a herd of 800 hives and market around twenty different varieties of honey, from their own production and from partnerships with other beekeepers who share the same quality requirements.
