Crystal Calluna Honey - 750g

In certain areas of the southwest, between August and September, the calluna vulgaris (or setembrina) blooms. The honey from this flower is very special due to its texture. In addition to having an intense and persistent aroma, it is characteristic for its gelatinous sensation in the mouth, due to its high viscosity. This honey has a light amber color with reddish hues and an extraordinarily shiny surface. It has an intense and persistent floral aroma and a sweet taste with clear bitter and salty notes that produce a gelatinous sensation in the mouth due to its high viscosity. Its production area is located in the montane floor of the southwestern area of Asturias: Allande, Tineo, Cangas del Narcea and Ibias.
