Originally was the Ardèche terroir, whose beauty, purity and naturalness inspired us. Local bees and beekeepers have created the foundation and defined the DNA of our brand.
The honeys of Joyeuse were born, from the name of a small fortified town which, according to legend, relates to the sword of Charlemagne. The flagship nectar, numbered, is the fruit of a single harvest on the crest of the mountains of Thines, next to Joyeuse. A rare honey from a pure environment. Straddling the label, but above all ethics, we have continued our quest for exceptional honeys made in France with respect for the environment.
We thus went foraging a little further, tasting the flavors of other natural parks, in Carmague, in Haut-Languedoc, in Vercors and even in Morvan. Each territory, each flower has enriched our range of honeys, with quality as a common point. Today from nine natural parks endowed with extraordinary biodiversity, our honey comes from preserved harvesting areas and human-sized farms, where the beekeeper works in symbiosis with his livestock and his environment. To make our selection, we let ourselves be guided by three essential values: respect, know-how and the terroir.
