Little Bear is happy. » Intended for children from 18 months, this hardback book offers a succession of small, simple scenes taken from the daily lives of toddlers, to help them name and understand their emotions. Each double-page presents an emotion and the situation that gives rise to it: - on the left page: a short and affectionate text which sets the context and names the emotion. - on the right-hand page: an illustrated scene with a "boost" animation to slide in to reveal the emotion. By triggering the animation, the child makes the emotion appear on the character's face and reveals the object that triggers this emotion. This cause/consequence construction invites him to deduce and understand emotions depending on the situation. At the end of the book, there is a "wheel of emotions". This educational tool, increasingly used in kindergarten, allows children to express their own emotions at the time. In the illustration, we find Daniel Roode.
