Cushions Manipur Temple Mekong

Mekong Temple Hand Woven Cushion Manipur means "dry land", is a still isolated state in northeastern India near Burma. It is known for the rustic beauty of its landscapes. The women of Manipur have passed down the traditional art of hand weaving for generations. Each tribe and village has its own patterns and colors. Revisited by our designers, the Manipur collection was born from a close collaboration between Mille et Claire and its expert weavers from Manipur. These cushions are woven entirely by hand, on old looms, each piece is unique, thus perpetuating an ancestral tradition. Merino wool yarns allow colors to last over time. The graphic lines are inspired by the patterns of the “Meiteis” or “Manipuris” tribes of North-East India who inhabit the beautiful valleys. Retail Size: 60 x 60cm Materials: 100% merino wool Weaving: Manual on ancient looms Origin: France and Manipur Design: Temple Colors: Mekong Wool Yarn / Ecru Wool Canvas Closure: Wooden button closure Questions about? Email: infoproduit@milleetclaire.fr Care Our wools are precious materials. To take care of it, dry cleaning or delicate hand washing in cold water are the best choices. Avoid placing your cushions in a dryer. For best care, allow your Manipur Temple Mekong to air dry. This will also minimize power consumption.
