Reusable menstrual dressing made without fabric waste, GOTS Certified organic cotton and waterproof breathable layer of laminated cotton to prevent leakage and prevent soiling. The shape fits perfectly to the underwear, minimizing excess fabric when secured with stainless steel springs. The white side should be in contact with the underwear. One box contains 1 unit Sizes: Light: No internal absorbent layer. Recommended for those who use menstrual cups and want to safeguard against small leaks. Ideal for small urine leakage and last days of flow. Dimension of the pad: 16,5 x 13,5 cm Moderate: With an inner absorbent layer. Recommended for most of the time of period duration. Dimension of the pad: 21,5 x 13,5 cm Abundant: With two absorbent layers inside. Recommended for days with a lot of flow. Dimension of the pad: 26,5 x 13,5 cm Night/ Postpartum: With two absorbent layers inside. Very long pad, ideal for preventing leaks when lying down. Dimension of the pad: 43 x 14 cm How to use: Place the dressing over the underwear with the pattern facing up. The white side should be in contact with the underwear. Fold the wings down and attach the spring. After use, fold and place in a waterproof bag for later washing or washing immediately. You should change the dressing every 3 to 4 hours. Materials: GOTS certified organic cotton layer, breathable laminated cotton (PUL – 80% cotton, 20% polyurethane), stainless steel spring. Organic cotton sewing thread. Cleaning: In the machine: First, rinse with cold water to remove excess blood. Afterwards, wash in the machine with a spin of no more than 800 revolutions and water at 30ºC. By hand: Soak the dressing in cold water with your favourite detergent. For more persistent stains you can use Sodium Perborate or Active Oxygen. Care to be taken: – Do not wash with hot water. Hot water will cause blood to stain the fabric. – After use, soak as soon as possible to facilitate washing. – We recommend the use of natural detergent and no synthetic fragrances. – Do not use conventional fabric softener which will make the dressing less absorbent. Packaging: Packaging is made of 100% recycled, recyclable, compostable kraft cardboard and FSC Certified. Recycling: If you want to recycle the packaging, please place it at Ecoponto Azul. At the end of the dressing’s life, you must separate the different elements. Keep the springs in a jar along with staples and other small items for future recycling. Cotton fabric can be composted or placed together with laminated cotton in unsorted garbage. Note: You can return the packaging to Mind The Trash Headquarters (Lisbon) for reuse. Made in Portugal.
