One of the latest designs to join our collection of wall art, this piece is by talented artist, Kirin Young. It’s a surreal mix of Renaissance and nature that gives a whole new angle to the expression ‘blue sky thinking.’Kirin’s inspiration for this surreal art project was the way that Magritte so often featured clouds and blue skies in his work - often alongside his signature bowler hat. This elegant lady originally appeared in a Renaissance portrait, but she seems to be disappearing into the sky behind her. The previous background to the portrait will almost certainly have been dark and dreary - instead, the whole look is lifted by the sky.
