The climbing arch is a multifunctional piece of furniture for children. It has been designed to support active play and the diverse development of gross motor skills, coordination, balance and strength. Climbing meets children's natural need to learn new things and learning to climb is a wonderful way to get physical activity and build confidence in children. The arch also has many other functions beyond climbing. It can be used as a rocker, play fort, baby gym, goal, children's table, toy storage or as a side table. When turned over, the climbing arch functions as a seesaw - perfect for little pirates to travel on or to use as a nest for napping. For this use, we recommend adding the optional cushion which transforms the use of the arch into a safer and more comfortable rocker. When turned on its side so that the rear panel of the arch is facing upwards, the climbing arch can be used as a table. Place it against a wall to serve as a side table or combine it with a small stool to use it as a children's activity table for painting, crafting and playing. The age range for using the climbing arch is 6 months to 9 years: 6–12 months can use it as a baby gym, rocker or support for crawling and learning to stand 1–5 years can use it as a climbing arch, seesaw, play fort, goal, etc. Ages 6-9 can use it as a table, seesaw, play fort, goal, etc. The frame of the climbing arch is made of sustainably sourced birch plywood. The cushion is made of 97% recycled fabric (84% recycled cotton, 13% recycled polyester and 3% cotton – Standard 100 by Öko-tex) and is filled with 100% recycled EcoSuperSoft padding. The cushion can be washed at 40°C with a delicate wash cycle.
