Hi, I'm Heidi Diez and my passion is making pieces of jewelry that enhance your personality and make you happy.
This is my story:
It all started in 2020.
I put you in situation.
The pandemic.
A job of zillion thousand hours a week as a personnel coordinator for 27 hotels of 3 well-known chains. (Well yes, I studied tourism).
A meager salary and little appreciation from the company...
Have you had that feeling of feeling trapped, of having lost the illusion and just wanting to run away?
I need a change.
The truth is that I have always had a highly developed creative vein. I really like working with my hands, so I said, “why not…?, this is what makes me happy”.
And I did it.
I let my inner voice speak, let the creativity that has always pulsed in me see the light in the form of jewels and More Than Feathers was born.
That's why my brand goes beyond handmade jewelry, it's almost a philosophy of life.
It is the value of things made with love, dedication, passion, but above all over a low heat.
My dream is to create unique jewelry for women who want to highlight their natural beauty.
And I'm living it.
I left this hellish job, trained and ventured to start my own artisan jewelry business.
You see, I am also a flesh and blood woman who laughs, cries, gets excited and doesn't stop until she gets what she wants.
And here you have me designing earrings, rings and necklaces for authentic women who are looking for that special jewel that makes them feel more beautiful, more confident and more powerful.
That's why I always say that More Than Feathers is more than jewelry (and more than feathers).
It is a call to reflection. To stop, feel, find yourself, arm yourself with courage and fight for what you want.

When you choose a handmade jewel, you are not choosing just a piece to take with you, either in your day-to-day life or in that very special event.

It is awakening a smile,
that illusion in the eyes.
It is looking in the mirror, seeing yourself radiant and thinking
“Today I eat the world”.
I know that all women are different.
That's why none of my handmade jewelry is exact to the previous one.
I like to think that each piece I create reflects a little piece of the soul of the person who wears it, and that is why they choose it.
Or at least that's how I live it.
That is why all the pieces are made, in detail and with quality materials:
sterling silver, bronze, brass, minerals, Swarovski crystals and precious and semi-precious stones.
But why More Than Feathers?
To tell you the truth, I have always loved feathers. I think they have a lot to do with women: delicate, subtle and elegant. Other than that, for several years I accompanied my sister and brother-in-law fishing. Pure hobby (later we released the little fish).
And I was fascinated by flies, you know those insect-shaped hooks with natural feathers that my brother-in-law made.
Those good moments with immensity of nature in the background and in good company, along with my passion for feathers, gave my business its name.
That's how it came about.
That is why More Than Feathers is more than jewels: it is smiles, emotions, unique moments and illusion.
