Darmmess recently won the Gold Medal for Best Cru 2023 at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, one of the largest and most prestigious olive oil quality competitions in the world. This olive oil, which has already won several awards, comes from thousand-year-old olive trees in the village of Deir Mimas in southern Lebanon. It is an early harvest oil, with a sweet flavor with green notes of freshness, a subtle taste of hazelnut, with low acidity thanks to its very high polyphenol content. Darmmess olive oil is made with a unique variety of Souri olives. The olive groves are in organic conversion, naturally grown without pesticides or chemicals.
