Mursel is a story, a quest for authenticity, a tribute to my origins and my experiences around the world.
This name, "Mursel," evokes a small street lined with memories, the one that led to the farm of my maternal grandparents, farmers in Morbihan, in Le Croisty. Not far from there, in Ploërdut, my paternal grandparents also cultivated the land with the same passion and humility. By choosing this name, I wanted to anchor my adventure in these deep values, those of simplicity, respect for nature and authenticity which were passed on to me.
My path to the world of tea took shape through my travels, particularly in Asia, the cradle of ancient traditions. In China, I discovered the art of tea, an art that tells stories, cultures, suspended moments. It was a revelation: tea is not just a drink, it is an experience, an emotion. Inspired by this richness, I decided to become a tea artisan, to create moments of sharing and discovery in my turn.
The Mursel adventure began modestly, in the local markets of Côtes d'Armor. My traveling companion? A vintage caravan, a 1969 Gemyni's Digue, which I transformed into a real "tea truck." HAS On board, I take my customers on a journey through my teas and infusions, offering them tastings in a warm and unusual setting. This tea truck is much more than a place of sale: it is my traveling workshop, a bridge between my passion and those who discover it. The markets are my school of life: they teach me listening, exchange and perseverance, and it is with pride that I continue to be present there every week (Saint-Quay Portrieux, Plouha, Binic & Plérin).
Today, every Mursel creation carries with it a promise of excellence. From the rigorous selection of raw materials to the delicate assembly of recipes, including hand-made packaging, I make it a point of honor to respect Breton craftsmanship. Each pod, each infuser is made one by one, with patience and meticulousness, in my workshop registered with the Côtes d'Armor Chamber of Trades.
Mursel is much more than a range of teas; it’s an invitation to slow down, savor and reconnect with what’s essential.
Welcome to the world of Mursel.
