Edvard Munch - Sick Mood at Sunset

This painting, dated 1892, is the precursor to the famous work "The Scream", as Munch himself wrote in his diary, recalling the moment of fear that gripped him in front of the clouds flaming like blood in the bright light of an Oslo sunset.
