A resolutely designer soap dish! Here is our 100% recycled plastic soap dish, from the circular economy. It is handcrafted in France 🇫🇷, and only with plastic waste (corks, toys, kitchen utensils…)! Durable, recycled, recyclable and resolutely committed, it was designed according to the Low-Tech philosophy in collaboration with a community of alternative recyclers. Its unique origami-like design allows the soap to always be dry: beautiful and practical! Its design has also been thought out to use as little material and energy as possible. A range that symbolizes our commitment If wood remains an ecologically interesting alternative, it seems important to us to explore other solutions and to always question ourselves. It is indeed URGENT to rethink our way of life, through the prism of sobriety and resilience, as well as our initial assumptions by taking a side step, in order to reduce our waste, our energy and resource needs. natural, even renewable. We have been carrying out this reflection since 2017, and it resulted in this solution at the end of 2019, which seems to us to be an alternative for the future, because it does not only involve the exclusive use of waste, but because it offers another way of conceiving society: sobriety, reparability, accessibility, open source and low-tech. Plastic waste becomes a resource, but it is not an end in itself. It is a question of using an existing resource without taking new ones, in order to depollute by producing durable and useful objects. The ideal is a society without waste and no longer producing it, operating in a circular economy at the local level. How are they made? - Waste collection is done in an ultra-short circuit, within a radius of a few kilometers around the workshop located in Lyon. - They are then washed with water, then crushed into straws. - These are hot injected into a mold to obtain the soap dishes. No other raw materials or chemicals are used, and no other steps are necessary! - Only two machines are used and they are made in France according to the Low-Tech philosophy. - The design and conception of this 100% recycled range are also designed according to this philosophy: to use as little energy and raw material as possible. - In addition, the waste produced during the manufacture of the sleeves (injection sprues) is put back into the loop to be crushed again and reused! Packaging: bulk End of life : It is made to last! But if you want to change the decoration, a salvage box will be available soon. It can be fully recycled.
