my-own-coffee only uses high quality coffee beans from the best growing areas in the world. The beans come from small, selected coffee fincas or smallholder cooperatives. They are grown organically, are sustainable and fairly traded.
Another quality feature is the special altitude at which the coffee plants grow. Here the coffee cherries are picked exclusively by hand, so that only the really ripe fruits are selected and harvested.
Experienced master roasters process the coffee beans in the traditional drum roasting process, slowly and gently at low temperatures. This allows the beans to develop their aromas particularly well, taste very aromatic and contain less tannic acid. The special roasting for filter brewing, fully automatic coffee machines, Aeropress, French press and portafilter machines result in an excellent taste experience.
