ARCHIPELAGO NECKLACE

ARCHIPEL COLLECTION • Very original necklace representing an island and its shores with its very fine chain, in brass gilded with 1 micron fine gold. Its engravings (fine hatching) represent the beaches of the Isle of Ré and its lines demarcate the different villages of the island. All the fragments that make up the other jewels in the Archipel collection are gathered here in a single motif. •Dimensions: - pattern: l: 3 x H: 1.1 cm - total length: 38 cm + 3 cm adjustment chain • A word about the Archipel collection: what if, one day, the Ile de Ré became an archipelago again? I designed this collection by reconstructing the island from my aerial photos, representing the oyster basins and meanders with engravings and the beaches with hatching that seems to nibble away at the earth. I divided the island into 6 fragments, 6 pieces of island (grouping 1, 2 or 3 villages).
