Marula Oil - 50ml

The approx. 15-20 meter high marula tree, also known as the elephant tree, with a broad crown and silver-speckled bark, is native to southern Africa. Our Marula Oil comes from wild trees in northern Namibia. The tree has been used in many ways by the local population for generations. In addition to the precious vegetable oil, the bark, roots and leaves are also used as a remedy for a wide variety of diseases. This high-quality marula oil from controlled traditional wild collection is produced by the Eudafano women's cooperative in northern Namibia and bottled in Germany. The oil is extracted in a complex manual process. The very hard seeds of the plum-sized drupes are surrounded by a yellow, aromatic pulp and contain two or more seeds with a very high oil content of up to 56%, which have to be extracted by hand. Namibian Naturals supports small businesses and women's projects that provide people with a livelihood in areas where jobs are scarce. Cosmetic Use: Normal to dry skin. Marula Oil is valued for its moisturizing properties and chemical stability. It has a subtle odor and is therefore ideal as a base oil for mixing with essential oils. An oxidation stable oil for blends with polyunsaturated oils. Formulations with marula are pleasantly light and leave the skin feeling extremely soft and pleasant. Application and effect: Marula oil can be mixed with your own facial care or as a substitute for day and night cream, apply in a thin layer to the face, neck and décolleté and massage in gently. Use on its own or in combination with a body lotion as required. Due to the high content of oleic acid, it is absorbed very well and deeply into the skin. It can also be combined with other oils or flavored with a few drops of essential oils (aroma care). : Even brittle or damaged nails look nicer again after a while of regular care with marula oil. They are firmer and therefore more resistant: After washing, rub a few drops of marula oil pure or mixed with other care oils in your hands and knead into the ends of the hair or, if necessary, distribute throughout the hair. The oil can be massaged in daily if there are split ends in the ends of the hair.
