Our new menu, Insect Luck, is a hypoallergenic complete feed that is also ideal for sensitive dogs. Many dogs nowadays suffer from so-called feed intolerance. They react to common types of meat such as chicken, turkey or beef - as well as grain, soy or dairy products. But the binders, fillers and flavor enhancers that are frequently used (especially in dry food) can also cause problems. The symptoms of a feed intolerance are manifold - for example reddened skin, dermatitis, itching, anus itching, coat loss, digestive problems / diarrhea, weight loss, problems with the ears and / or anal glands. An exclusion diet that is limited to a previously unknown protein source can be carried out excellently with our insect luck. But please always remember that nothing else - not even the one, small treat - may be fed with any other animal protein. We deliberately decided not to use potatoes and parsnips, as some dogs are already reacting very sensitively here. In addition, our insect luck is grain-free and low in carbohydrates, which is important, for example, if an infestation with Giardia has been detected, as a low-carbohydrate diet is essential to support the treatment. Why world conscious? Around 9.4 million dogs live in Germany and because our pets also leave their CO2 paw prints, a good contribution to protecting the environment can be made in a targeted manner with less meat consumption. At napani, we believe that less meat on the plate and in the bowl equates to a responsibility that affects us all. Three of our employees are vegan, which is why it has always been difficult to grapple with the fact that other animals also have to die for the pets they love. A dog can be fed without meat very well (given the nutritional needs) - but not all dogs like it. Feeding your dog insect-based protein can bridge the gap between meat-based and plant-based diets.
