Safawi organic dates

Dark brown with a noble, purple sheen, medium-sized and elongated: these are the Safawi dates. They are among the semi-dry varieties that are only harvested when sunlight and desert winds have removed most of the moisture from the pulp. The taste of the date is particularly intense due to the long ripening time on the palm and has a complex sweetness that combines both fruity and caramel notes.
