This is why NEPALAYA works with Lokta paper: * LOKTA is Nepalese and means daphne. The Lokta plant grows in the mountainous northeastern region of Nepal. The average lifespan of a Lokta tree is 15-20 years, after 4 years the Daphne can be harvested for the first time. To produce Lokta paper, the Lokta fibers are taken from the bark without damaging the plant – a sustainable and environmentally friendly way of producing paper.
